Steel

Elettrotorri incorporates two types of steel in its processing: stainless and carbonized, two ferrous alloys with differing chemical compositions.

Stainless steel is created through the mixture of various elements including iron, chromium, which provides resistance to corrosion, and nickel, which enhances its mechanical properties.  Its appearance is shiny and reflective.

Carbon-steel is an alloy metal containing iron, but holds a high level carbon and therefore has a low melting point. It has an opaque finish and is extremely workable, with beneficial heat distribution properties.
